This playground is right outside the newly updated Wheaton Regional Library and opened right around when the library reopened in 2019.

We love to visit the library to pick out a few books, grab a coffee and a muffin at the cafe inside the building, and then let the kids run around until they’re tired out. Our definite favorite thing to do at this park is to take a bumpy ride down the roller slide, but there is a lot to keep the kids excited.

The playground has a reading and music theme, with a section of outside-friendly instruments to play. There is also a spinning merry-go-round, a multi-level climbing structure and a shaded tot section to enjoy.
