Affectionately known as The Fire Engine Park to those in the neighborhood, this playground offers a range of fun for kids of all ages. The nickname comes from the old metal fire engine that's great for imaginative play for little firefighters.
In the older section of the playground there is also a small old-fashioned spinner merry-go-round (I thought those had all been removed!), a few bouncy ride-on animals, and swings.
There's a section of the park with more recently installed equipment with a large climbing structure with ladders, bridges, and a big twisty slide.
On-site there is also a small yellow playhouse where kiddos love to create wood chip delicacies to share.
This playground has a large field to run in, basketball courts, and a couple good shady trees to picnic beneath.
