Dewey Local Park is a treat for all visitors! It was renovated in 2020 and has updated equipment for all ages. There are plenty of ropes and ladders to climb, raised platforms to leapfrog and slides to speed down. The playground has a bridge to climb across and a few ninja-like courses to test your agility. There's also an oversized swing that can fit several kiddos at once. And my kids love the giant green astroturf hill you can climb to reach the slide structure above.

There is a smaller little kid playground up the hill from the larger big kid attractions. There's a smaller slide and a play structure to hide within. There is also a bank of traditional swings in this section of the playground. But my kids were way more drawn to the big playground.

This park is unique in that not only does it have exciting, modern equipment, but it also has vibrant public art murals.

Dewey Local Park also has a large "trike track" that surrounds the park grounds, making this a great playground for a walk, bike ride, or scooter stroll. There's an exercise area with equipment to facilitate your reps, a well-trafficked dog park that makes for great viewing if you are a fan of the pups, and even a public outdoor street hockey rink.

If you haven't already put this playground on your list to visit, the fall is a great time to try it out.
