This little but lively playground located near the DC-line in Takoma, Maryland. It has bright, modern equipment and plenty to entertain the kiddos. Right next to a community garden, the playground has a plant theme with giant abstract flower structures popping up all over the small play area.
My kid took right to the ropes line, climbing her way from the beginning to the end, even on a wet, rainy day. There is an alphabet climbing ramp, where your child can literally climb up the ABCs.
We also enjoyed the small rubber bridge, the vertical climbing wall, and the set of slides to race down (my kid raced with her baby doll). There is a small table beneath the slides that is perfect for kiddos to gather and feast on wood chips (or, you know, real snacks).
And a neat addition to the playground is the two posters teaching the braille alphabet and how to identify numbers on the clock in braille. There is a little library on-site, plenty of benches, and a few picnic tables if you want to bring a meal.
