This recently updated playground sits towards the top of the MacaroniKID Takoma Park-Silver Spring territory on, as the name suggests, Norbeck Road. Even if you're more towards the Takoma Park section of our area, this playground is worth checking out as it has many features that we haven't seen at other local playgrounds.

The playground has play spaces for both little and big kids. The little kid section is shaped like a house, with a small slide and rock climbing ramp. There is a low-to-the-ground surfing swing, a rocket-shaped teeter-totter, a few high-speed twisty cups and a standing twister, too.

Some of the cool features of the big-kid section of the park are the circular monkey bars and the raised drum bridge! There's also an artificial climbing rock, a set of very steep racing slides, a twisty slide and a bank of swings.

This playground also has a big covered pavilion with a bbq and access to bathrooms (has a code to be used by rentals) that would be great for a big gathering. There is a lot of smooth scooter pavement and several playing fields, too.
