Summer means more time to play outside, but with the sun beating down, sometimes outside is the last place your kids want to be. Here is a list of local shady or partially shaded playgrounds to keep your kids active with a little less sun (and less complaining). Parks with a tree were the ones we went to with the most shade. Of course, time of day can be a big factor when finding shady spots.
